I’m Kate, the owner of Kathryn Jane Jewellery, and I work from my home workshop in Northamptonshire with my two feline helpers!
Every piece you see in my shop is handmade by me using quality materials and a lot of care.
I work with sterling silver (925); I never use silver-plated components. Some pieces are made from fine silver (999), while others feature accents of gold, bronze, or copper. Full details are always included in each listing.
My journey began after my son was born 12 years ago, when I started making beaded jewellery and gifting it to friends and family. They encouraged me to start selling and so I gave it a go. Not long after, I took a beginners silversmithing workshop and was completely hooked. Since then, I’ve continued to gain more skills through courses, online tutorials, and most recently, completing a Diploma in Silver Jewellery.
You can find me at local fairs and pop-up shops, and a selection of my jewellery is stocked at Margo & Evie Too at the Bell Plantation in Towcester.
